Lineage Supplication (Short version)
Homage to glorious Samantabhadra, the all-good to timeless buddhahood, basic total presence, to unchanging spontaneity, the spacious vajra-heart, to the nature of mind – natural perfection, constantly, simply being, we bow down.
Om Ah Hung. Teacher of the causeless, please come from the palace of the reality body. Teacher of primordial purity, please come from the palace of the enjoyment body. Teacher of compassion, please come from the palace of the emanation body.
Surrounded by rainbow light, Your body vibrates with spheres of light. So that I remain inseparable from you, Please abide on the sun and moon throne above my head.
I prostrate with body, speech, and mind. I make outer, inner, and secret offerings. I confess all harmful actions of body, speech, and mind and breakages of vows. Please grant me the ripening empowerments and the profound liberating instructions.
