Chagdud Rinpoche in conversation with Pema Khandro: Death & Dying

 

In this interview Rinpoche chats with Chagdud Khandro about her speciality in theĀ  Phowa practices, the differences between monastic and non-renunciate practitioners, and how the dying process is unique phenomena for the Masters of the lineage. Advice is given on how to deal with the ‘non-ideal’ death according to the Buddhist Tradition. Other special issues discussed include; organ donation, dedication of merit on another’s behalf, enlisting lamas to practice for the deceased and how to manage fear of death.
