PERSONAL EXPENSES

All basic costs on this journey, including domestic airfare between Paro and Bumthang, are covered by your comprehensive trip payment. However, please reserve $150 or more for customary tips and gratuities for our local Bhutanese guides, cooks, and drivers and perhaps another $500 for personal expenses, shopping, and offerings in monasteries and temples.

Bhutan is renowned for its colorful handicrafts, so be sure to bring sufficient cash. ATMs in Bhutan are not reliable, but euros and dollars can be easily exchanged for local ngultrim. Please also note The Vajra Path Cancellation Policy that was sent to you by email.
