DINACHARYA – SIMPLE AYURVEDIC DAILY RITUAL

  • Wake and sit straight up
  • Connect with the Divine (prayer, gratitude practice, mantra)
  • Sipping Hot water with lemon (and fresh ginger if constipated)
  • Evacuate
  • Tongue scraping
  • Normal hygiene (toothbrushing, washing face)
  • Copper water drinking
  • Oil Pulling – Gundusha
  • Neti / nasya (daily for kapha congestion / weekly for maintenance)
  • Eye wash (daily for eye irritation / weekly for maintenance)
  • Ear oil (daily for ear issues / weekly for maintenance)
  • Yoga
  • Pranayama
  • Meditation
  • Garshana – Dry Skin brushing
  • Abhyanga (ayurvedic oil massage) & shiro (scalp massage)
  • Steam bath or shower
  • Eating at proper times according to Charaka Samhita guidelines
  • Evening – Mineral salt soaking
